Procedures » Rhinoplasty

Many people have concerns about the appearance of their nose, as well as difficulty breathing properly. This may be either the result of genetics, previous trauma or surgeries.

Some patients have very specific concerns about the appearance of their nose, including a prominent hump, a thick tip, widened or flared nostrils, etc.

Effective communication between the patient and surgeon are extremely important in rhinoplasty to ensure that expectations can be met. Dr. Gordley will thoroughly exam your nose and give you an opportunity to express your desires.

The underlying structures of the nose can be manipulated via either a closed approach (no external incisions), or an open approach (small scar under the nose). Which approach depends on the extent of the surgery or previous surgeries/trauma.
